Christina was born into a Cuban-American family in Miami, Florida, but grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. She has been an active creative her entire life. The mysteries of the human condition, as they re-occur in our mythologies and histories, intrigue and move Christina to explore these and nature themes in her art. There is so much more to a story than just the story, so many details and ways to dig deeper into hidden meanings. Not only do deeper symbolic meanings of stories inspire Christina, but also oddities. Especially if it is something that is funny or beautiful.
