A heroic knight takes on the deadly beast that has been attacking the village! A giant snail! Hear the dramatic music playing, as they battle to the death! Who will win? Will man or gastropod survive?? If anyone has ever had a garden, they can probably agree that snails do quite a lot of damage, and the battle is real! This is my own version of an actual illustration from a medieval manuscript, painted on my computer, using Corel Painter. The original illustration is so absurd, it made me laugh, and fueled the creation of my own version! There have been some theories as to perhaps the snails being symbols of an invading or tiresome people, but no one knows for sure.
